Tree Talk

Tree Talk is what the camp does instead of evening activity on Sundays. Tree talks consist of counselors talking to the camp about the camp's core values. Usually there is also an activity that the whole camp does to demonstrate the value that is being talked about. For example, one memorable tree talk is about trust and communication. For this Tree Talk, a counselor talks about trust and communication for a little bit and then the camp splits into two groups. One group goes to Injun Joe's and plays telephone to demonstrate communication and the other group stays at the rock to do trust falls. All of the different tree talks are:

  • Introductions
  • Values
  • Warm Fuzzies
  • Trust and Communication
  • History
  • Goodbyes
