The Kennel

The Kennel is the staff cabin in the woods below Albert's and above the Fish Hatchery. The Kennel has been used to house kitchen staff, trip staff, and other non-cabin staff for the summer. To some who have been around camp for a while, the building might look familiar, as the physical building used to be the lower wash house. The building was moved and the plumbing was removed when the current lower wash house was built.
When the cabin was first moved, the thought was that this would be a new kitchen staff cabin for "dishdogs". They were called dishdogs because the guys who were good at it would almost be hounding you for your dishes. Since they were "'dogs", it was called the Kennel.
