Cabin 4 is the sixth cabin in Lower Camp. It is also known as Tourmaline from when the Lower Camp cabins were named after Maine minerals. It holds four campers, a counselor and sometimes a CIT.

Birch Rock has a natural spring that comes up above ground just up hill of Four. This spring has often run the water right down under the cabin and in fact, in the mid-'80s the cabin was closed because BRC was concerned it might buckle. Over the years the staff has reworked to deal with the water route and solidify the cabins footers. With a large ramp running to the door and a couple bridges outside, Four has become sort of special cabin in its own way as the hub between the lower camp cabins by the washouse and those along the wall.
