Old Speck Mountain is a mountain located in Oxford County, Maine. It is the third tallest mountain in Maine at more than 4100 feet and the tallest in the Mahoosuc Range, which is part of the White Mountains. A trip from Birch Rock goes there, usually with Cabin 7 and 8, Eagle's, or Buzzard's.

The mountain is northeast of Mahoosuc Arm and southwest of Baldpate Mountain. At the top of the mountain there is a fire lookout tower that one can climb. Usually the trip starts at the AT Trailhead in Grafton Notch State Park. The trail that is taken up much of the mountain is the Appalachian Trail. The AT does not go to the summit so the trip branches off for a while to get to the top, which is almost 4 miles from the trail head. Descent usually goes along the bare northeast face of the mountain. This trail joins back onto the AT to the campsite at Speck Pond. The campsite has tent platforms and is right next to the beautiful high-altitude Speck Pond.

The mountain is also climbed by older campers in a camping trip that takes up more of the Mahoosuc Range. That trip starts from the opposite direction, starting with Mahoosuc Arm, then the Mahoosuc Notch, then Old Speck.
