The Loon is a long distance swim equivilent to two [[The Duck|Ducks]]. It consists of swimming to the other side of the lake and back, a distance of around 0.9 miles. A usually Loon takes around an hour to swim. After swimming his loon a camper will receive a sitting [[Birch Rock cheer]] from the camp at the next meal.
