The staff line the path that leads from the Brewster Lodge (formerly the Infirmary or the Health Lodge) to the Office (formerly the activities room). The staff will line up with senior staff at the top and the junior counselors down by the office. As the campers are dismissed from the gathering near the memorial plaques, they walk down the path. While they walk down the path, they have time for an individual goodbye from each staff member. For many a true Birch Rocker, this is the time to cry as the reality of another season gone by sets in.
