Chuck Hatcher was recruited to be a staff member at Birch Rock by long time Birch Rocker Adam Whinston. Both Adam and Chuck were California boys from the West Coast. Chuck was a swim instructor in 1992 and 1993 and became a Waterfront Director in 1994.
