Deneault's Den

Denault's Den is in the woods above the camper swim tent and Injun Joe's. The building replaced the Rat's Nest and is named in honor of Mike and Phyllis Denault, former directors of Birch Rock who lived in the Rat's Nest for many summers m, one was with their newborn child. It was built in 2006 by the staff and CITs. The design of the new cabin was stylized to resemble a larger version of the original cabin and was painted brown to mimic the split wood planks on the outside of the old cabin. There is a plaque inside dedicating the cabin to the Denault's.
