Today was a beautiful day on Lake McWain. The sun was shining with a light breeze from the West. Many of our campers were down at campcraft earning their knife rights, so they can use a knife safely on campus. We also completed all of our tests for instructional swim with campers dividing into proper swim groups.
With the wind gusting up in the afternoon, many campers were sailing across our lovely lake and sometimes capsizing. Sailing Instructor Erik Joelsson decided this would be a great time to teach the kids capsizing and recovery techniques.
In the evening, Ryan Massey taught the camp a new game he invented called "Geronimo". It's a lot like capture-the-flag but with a number of twists.
Super Camper: Will Potter- for his positive attitude at Lacrosse, receiving his knife rights and being an all around great guy.
Best Beds: Matt Clifford and Joe Rood
Cleanest Cabin: Buzzards Roost
