A Loon consists of swimming from A to B and
back to A

The Loon is a long distance swim equivalent to two Ducks. It consists of swimming to the other side of the lake and back, a distance of around one mile. Usually a Loon takes around an hour to swim. After swimming his Loon, a camper will receive a sitting Birch Rock cheer from the camp at the next meal. At the end of his time at camp he will also receive a Loon badge.
