Baldface
Baldface is a mountain located in Coos County, New Hampshire. It is made up of two peaks, North and South Baldface. The mountain is located in the White Mountains, a mountain range covering about a quarter of New Hampshire which is made up of the most rugged mountains in New England. Other mountains in the White Mountains include the Presidential Range and Mt. Washington. South Baldface is considered the more interesting peak even though it is 59 feet shorter than North Baldface at 3547 feet. From the top of South Baldface there are fantastic views of Mt. Washington and the surrounding area. North Baldface is 3606 feet at its highest point. The name Baldface is never combined with mount or mountain according to the United States Geological Survey.
