Sailing a CFJ in 2007

The sailing activity is run out of the boat house. It is one of the older activities at camp, with pictures of sailboats on Lake McWain dating to the earliest years of camp.

After many years of sailing on a couple of old lasers and sunfish, Birch Rock purchased new CFJ boats in 2002. The CFJs are supplemented by lasers and sunfish still, but those boats have also been replaced or upgraded.

The badges for sailing are the deckhand, midshipman, and skipper.
