Nicolas Wells Musciano, aka the Italian Stallion, Musc, is one of Birch Rock's most dedicated counselors. With his ever present smile and strong circle of old friends, it wouldn't be a stretch to call Nick Birch Rock's Friendliest Counselor. Nick has been coming to Birch Rock since 1998, attending every season except for 2007. Currently Nick is the [[Field Director]] and can be found every day teaching Basketball and all other field activities.

Some of Nick's earliest memories of Birch Rock are of counselor [[Thomas Joyce]], who helped Nick out of homesickness and gave him his famous nickname. Thomas was known for calling "Nick, the Italian Stallion, MUSIAAAAANO!!!" at whatever chance he had except, in a moment of self restraint, when he subbed in for Nick's math teacher in his hometown of Falmouth, Maine. As a counselor Nick started in Upper Camp, but in recent summers has moved down to [[Cabin 4]]. His favorite moments in recent years have been the [[Campfire]] seasons of 2009 and 2010, the counselor vehicles Millennium Falcon & Death Star,  and 4th period [[Basketball]] every day.
