Regicide was a new Evening Activity invented in 2006. The word 'regicide' means the killing of a king. Although the game was well liked in 2006 (it was voted by the camp to be the last evening activity of the summer) it has not been played since.
Regicide is played on an open field. The camp is split up into three teams and for each team a King and Squire are designated. Everyone except the Squires needs a tail like in Quorum. The game play of Regicide has its roots in Capture the Flag. In both games opposing teams clash, each with the goal of taking their opponent's flag, or in the case of Regicide, the King's tail. What makes Regicide different is that there are no areas where one team is defending and the other is attacking. Like in Geronimo, where ever you are you can have your tail taken out by or take the tail of an enemy player. Another important aspect of Regicide is that the King can move and attack like other players can. If his flag is taken though his team loses. The Squire is an invincible guard for the King. In Regicide there are no jails or healers, if your flag is pulled you are out until the next round.
