Birocapedia was started by a Birch Rock camper in December, 2007 and put on the world wide web on April 21, 2008. The goals of Birocapedia are to help parents or anyone else learn a little bit more about Birch Rock and to preserve the history and traditions of the camp. Birocapedia is not affiliated with Birch Rock Camp.
The site would have been named Birchrockopedia if not for Mike Mattson's suggestion of a judiciously shortened Birocapedia.
