Nature is an activity campers can sign up for to learn about nature. It focuses on the plants and animals of Maine and conservation. Nature was not offered at Birch Rock for a long time, it was only brought back in 2005. There are three nature badges, all named after famous naturalists. The junior badge is called the Baxter after Percival P. Baxter, and the senior is called the Audubon after John James Audubon.

Nature is an activity campers can sign up for to learn about nature, and specifically the plants and animals of Maine. Nature stopped being an activity at Birch Rock for a long time but it was brought back in 2005 by Blake Massey. It takes place in the Fish Hatchery.
