Getting started Birocapedia was made and is managed by a Birch Rock camper. Here are some things you can do if you are new here: Read the about page Click the random page link to see a random article Register an account by clicking this link. After that you can write and edit pages. Read some help pages to learn a little bit about how to use this site Write an article about something at Birch Rock like your favorite activity, your cabin, or anything that you think merits an article Look at the pages that have already been made and edit them If you don't know what to write an article about, look at the list of wanted pages and write one of those

News It is Monday, November 25, 2024. Email features are now available. The system does not work with Gmail yet and probably some other email providers. You can set it so birocapedia emails you when various things happen like if someone leaves you a message. Go to your preferences page (the link is in the top right) to enable them. Email is not quite ready yet. Now you can make Quizzes. See Help:Quizzes for more information. The most wanted pages are History, Pete Haas, Birch Rock Camp, and Lake McWain. You can help Birocapedia by writing one of them. See the current events page for more news and future events Featured article Staff T-shirt Quotes Every summer the staff receive a staff t-shirt with a quote on the back. The quote is usually symbolic of that summer in some way or was said a lot that season. The quote starts with "Summer of (and the year)...(then the quote)". Below is a list of the quotes and the story behind them. 1984 Facilitators of Fun This was the first year of the quoted t-shirts. It was a huge hit with the staff, and Director Ben Brewster was credited with the idea. This was however Ben's last summer. The Biroca Blast was dedicated to Cathy Roland, the camp's nurse There were so many Whales that the kitchen served desserts other than Whale Cake like root beer floats for some of them The plaques did not have age groups The longest Whale ever was swum, at 4:51 The staff T-shirt quote was "This phoenix will soar" For the second half of second session there were no campers in Hilton through Cabin 3 and the counselors and CITs from those cabins stayed in Hilton
