The Birch Rock cheer is a way the camp honers people for accomplishing a hard task. It is often done by the entire camp shouting it at the top of their voices starting on cue. Long distance swims from the Loon to the Whale are recognized with Birch Rock cheers. The Staff and Kitchen's accomplishments are also recognized with a cheer, as well as places we visit.
